Who said the tango belongs only to Buenos Aires? The tango lives wherever it finds your soul.

The Malva Quartet from Gothenburg and the accordion player Gerhard A. Schiewe from Berlin met through musical arrangement − an inspiring meeting that led to the founding of Qui a tué le Tango.

From the first moment curiosity and tension was present between the violins, viola, cello and accordion. The musical idea took more and more form and their shared passion grew.

Only when dreams get lost ends the nostalgia, which in the tango echoes of melancholy. Stories are told and for a while we are uplifted, far away from everyday reality.

As long as people love this music, the tango will live on.
